Uncontested Divorce

Get a Flat Rate Uncontested Divorce in Wichita and Surrounding Areas

Serving Sedgwick County, Butler County, Harvey County, Reno County, and surrounding areas.

WHY AN UNCONTESTED DIVORCE?

Often times, sadly, couples know they have reached the end of the road for their relationship, and they're ready to go their separate ways. While feelings may be hurt, and it is a time of grief for many, it doesn't have to be a long drawn out process. Many times couples already know how they want to handle their split, they just don't know where to start when it comes to filing in Court. At Thompson Family Law, we are here to help guide you through the process so that you and your spouse can finalize the divorce with as little hassle as possible. Why add to the stress when you don't need to?

That is why Thompson Family Law offers a flat rate uncontested divorce package.  You pay one upfront fee that we hold in trust until the divorce is final. We then collect the fee once you're done! You'll only ever make the one payment if it remains uncontested, from start to finish. This can potentially save you thousands of dollars in legal fees.

UNCONTESTED DIVORCE WITH CHILDREN

If you have children, and you and your spouse know how and where you would like them to spend their time, we can help with that as well. Calculating child support in Kansas requires following a specific formula, one that we know well. It is worth hiring an attorney for that aspect alone, even if you and your spouse agree on a child support amount.

The cost for an uncontested divorce with children is slightly higher because there are additional documents to be prepared. However, we still offer a flat rate fee that is again held in our trust until the divorce is finalized, at which time we will collect the fee.
